I am not sure people are aware but there is no difference between a false accuser and a false witness. As they are BOTH false! Sometimes I think the false accusers are worst then the false witnesses. but those are just my thoughts. The truth is both are liars, and I open this post with a prayer. Dear God I come before you today and I pray silence these liars lips and if possible help them be truth tellers in Jesus name Amen!
In my house, I believe men ought not to judge. Most who judge only do it by what they see. they don’t know the whole story and a lot of times their judgment is inaccurate. I believe to make false judgment makes you a false person and a liar. This is what I believe. Today we are going to examine some scriptures. When they could not hang Jesus for His deeds they did try and lay false witness against Jesus but their witness did not line up. Which honestly is the truth about being false. A false witness or accuser does not line up to truth.
In 2 Timothy we see a warning about the end days. many will see false teachers but not really ever pay attention to the false accusers.
2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, FALSE ACCUSERS, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
When Jesus was falsely accused His reply was often, “so you say,” He did not bother to call them liars and when they stoned Him, He left until it was His time to die for us on the cross. God never wanted us to speak anything false. it is called lying, or spreading rumors, or even gossip. I am going to share some more scriptures and I do pray many of us practice not judging any, but just keep the mirror in front of us. for if the whole world is false, and the whole world falsely accuses, God help me be a true witness in Jesus name Amen!
Being a false accuser is something the devil does all the time, let’s examine some of those scriptures.
Revelation 12:9-10 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Being falsely accused will sometimes rile you up, it will cause you to anger, and honestly that is some devilish stuff. That is what the devil does. tells lies and sows discord and keeps people fighting. Anything to devour their souls. I pray many of us examine the scriptures and let the Word be our sword and our strength and our Comforter for I find these scriptures quite comforting!
Exodus 20:16, Deuteronomy 5:20, Proverbs 6:12-19, Proverbs 12:12-22, Proverbs 14:5, Proverbs 21:28, proverbs 25:18,
Proverbs 19:5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
Proverbs 19:9 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
I don’t know about anyone else, but that gives me great comfort, that liars shall be cut off. It gives me great comfort to know as long as I don’t lie, I shall not be as those who do. I also do not want to falsely accuse, because honestly, I am trying to be blameless before God on my death or the Lord’s return. Whichever comes first. I can not answer for other’s sin, but I want God to say to me. My faithful child welcome to my city! I have found you blameless. That is my desires friend. I can not answer for what others are doing. God help me not speak lies or falsely accuse any. In fact, may I just keep my eyes on God and rest in the LORD and wait for God’s return! This is my joy!
Also, I love these scriptures.
Psalms 31:18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
Psalms 63:11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
Psalms 7, Psalms 27, Psalms 31, Psalms 34, Psalms 52. Again this gives me so much peace to know that liars shall be cut off, and all deeds are rewarded and there is no reward for the wicked friends and that is truth! I thank God for the comfort of His WORD! ❤ For I do believe these words are true and as for me, myself and I, I will not partake in lying, or falsely accusing. That is where my heart is friend. When I told lies I had to pray and ask for forgiveness and strength not to tell lies. I pray these words help any grow in God. Have a blessed day beloveds! Food for spiritual growth and may it water your soul abundantly in Jesus name Amen! Written by Michelle Stokes for God’s glory and the souls of any who will receive it!
Psalms 7 :1 NLT courtesy of biblegateway.
I come to you for protection, O Lord my God.
Save me from my persecutors—rescue me!
2 If you don’t, they will maul me like a lion,
tearing me to pieces with no one to rescue me.
3 O Lord my God, if I have done wrong
or am guilty of injustice,
4 if I have betrayed a friend
or plundered my enemy without cause,
5 then let my enemies capture me.
Let them trample me into the ground
and drag my honor in the dust. Interlude
6 Arise, O Lord, in anger!
Stand up against the fury of my enemies!
Wake up, my God, and bring justice!
7 Gather the nations before you.
Rule over them from on high.
8 The Lord judges the nations.
Declare me righteous, O Lord,
for I am innocent, O Most High!
9 End the evil of those who are wicked,
and defend the righteous.
For you look deep within the mind and heart,
O righteous God.
10 God is my shield,
saving those whose hearts are true and right.
11 God is an honest judge.
He is angry with the wicked every day.
12 If a person does not repent,
God[b] will sharpen his sword;
he will bend and string his bow.
13 He will prepare his deadly weapons
and shoot his flaming arrows.
14 The wicked conceive evil;
they are pregnant with trouble
and give birth to lies.
15 They dig a deep pit to trap others,
then fall into it themselves.
16 The trouble they make for others backfires on them.
The violence they plan falls on their own heads.
17 I will thank the Lord because he is just;
I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.
